Background:
I have formal training from the Digital and Interactive Media program at NAIT College . In this course I learned and exercised skills in 3D modeling and Animation, Graphic Design Principles, Web Design & Layout, Video Filming and Editing, and CD Rom Authoring. In 2005 I graduated with honors.
Since graduating, I began working at the Banff Centre of the Arts in the Visualization Lab. My job was to develop an education video game based on quantum cryptography titled KeyQuest BB84. I was responsible for modeling and animating all objects, as well as graphic, sound and layout design. Please visit the 3D section in my portfolio for samples.
It was also my responsibility to model 3D objects for the CAVE environment at the Visualization Lab, as well as design of brochures, booklets and web graphics for the Banff Centre.
For 3 years, previous to NAIT, I conceived and operated Stevetoys. This was a custom toy company in which I produced custom action figures, bobbleheads, wedding toppers and snow globes for over 500 customers. I designed each toy's package and hand crafted the figure to match the person from pictures provided to me. Please visit the design section to see a few samples of my work.
